Welcome to Our 2025 Book Club! (We need to come up with a name)

I am so excited that everyone has agreed to participate and share two evenings a month together talking about books, life and whatever else our conversations turn into!!!

Our first book for the Fall Book Club is The Emperor of Gladness by Ocean Vuong.

Below are the following dates we will meet (please come whether you keep up with the reading or not, and show up to all some or even one, we want to see you!).

Thursdays at 8:00-9:00 p.m. eastern standard time.

September 18th, Tell us one thing about you! Discuss: Chapters 1-5

October 2nd, Where is your favorite place to read? Discuss: Chapter 6-10

October 23rd, What is your favorite book? How does is compare to this book? Discuss: Chapters 11-15

November 6th, Discuss:Chapters 16-20

November 20th, Discuss: Chapters 21-25 (this date may change) Our next book choice!

Welcome to our Grades 3-6 Summer 2025 Book Club.

I am excited to read our first book together The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate.

I look forward to a fun and interactive time with you all!

July 20th discuss pages 1-90, July 27th, discuss pages 91-170, August 3rd discuss pages 171-260, August 10th discuss pages 261-end.

Check back on this website for some fun activities along with the reading.

1st meeting July 20th: Bring some paper and markers for a fun activity. We will discuss the pages 1-90, but if you have not start reading it is ok! Look forward to seeing you!
